Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has claimed that his in-form midfielder Aaron Ramsey will get even better after his ‘phenomenal’ performance against Cardiff City. The right-back’s current deal expires in the summer but he has failed to negotiate a new contract and appears to be unwilling to commit his long term future to the North Londoners, despite reports earlier in the month that he was on the verge of putting pen to paper on a new contract. Under current rules the France international is free to talks to other clubs and is believed to have received offers from a trio of teams, including Internazionale and Ligue 1 pair Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco....

German outlet BILD made the stunning claim, with their chief football journalist, Christian Falk claiming that Wenger had already made a personal call to Guardiola with a view to enticing the Spaniard to succeed him at the Emirates. Arsenal are genuinely making a good fist of their Premier League title campaign this year, leading to Wenger appearing to be his most settled in years. Coupled with the fact that Wenger has a contract till 2017, Arsenal were left out of the speculation when Bayern announced his departure....

The IPOs for both companies hit the market as the Labor Department announced that a seasonally adjusted figure of 853,000 Americans filed for unemployment last week for the first time, the largest number since mid-September. Current jobless claims rose to 5.8 million, the first rise in those figures since late August. Overall unemployment declined slightly in October to 6.7%. But Airbnb and DoorDash are betting on better times ahead....
