The club’s official website released a statement saying: “Gervinho has joined Italian Serie A side AS Roma for an undisclosed fee. Everyone at Arsenal would like to thank Gervinho for his contribution to the club and wish him well for his future career.”
The ex-Lille forward netted 9 times in 45 appearances for the Gunners. Gervinho begun his career at ASEC Abidjan academy in the Ivory Coast, before moving on to Belgium and France.
