Premier League is all set to become the first league in the world where goal-line technology will be used. An inauguration ceremony was held at the Emirates Stadium to unveil the newly inducted technology.
Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger though has raised eye-brows over the use of the technology. He has asked about the solution in a case where a player is fouled before the ball crosses the line.
Referee Anthony Taylor told Wenger that a training day on Monday will be spent working through “anomalies like that.”
The referees will meet before the beginning of the league and discuss various problems and also test the technology before using it in an actual match.
