Thus, Arsenal have a very good chance of getting the player in the upcoming transfer windows.
PSV Eindhoven want £30 million for Hirving Lozano
Arsenal have identified the Mexican international as an ideal replacement for Alexis Sanchez, should the Chilean depart in January. Lozano joined the Dutch club only in July but already has made a strong impression.
Hence, Arsenal’s chief scout Steve Rowley is keeping tabs on the player and it was recently reported that a £20 million bid was possible in January. However, ESPN reports that PSV want the Gunners to pay Lozano’s release clause of £30 million to get the 22-year old.
While the price could seem steep for a new player finding his feet in the Dutch league, the current market is such that if the player is good, then Arsenal have to pay up to get him.
Arsenal face stiff competition for Manchester United goalkeeper
Arsene Wenger is interested in recruiting Manchester United’s Dean Henderson, whose contract expires in the summer. The England U21 international is on loan at League One leaders, Shrewsbury Town, and is a regular in the side.
According to the Mirror journalist Adrian Kajumba, the London side will have to beat competition from 13 more clubs to land the goalkeeper. Kajumba reports that Henderson has attracted attention from abroad as well with Benfica, Udinese and Olympiakos interested in the 20-year old.
While Arsenal definitely have an advantage over other clubs, it remains to be seen whether they go ahead and sign the player.
